Abstract The characteristics of two different localities where Acer monspessulanum L. subsp. monspessulanum was determined and the evaluation of morphological and visual characteristics of the populations in term of landscape value in this localities constituted the scope of this study. Distributions of populations were determined at rocky slopes in two different altitudes range of 1401-1450 m and 1618-1715 m with a few of woody plant species.
