Title The Effects on Cd, Fe, Zn Concentration, Antioxidative Enzyme Activity and Growth of Cotton Plant (Gossipium Hirsutum L) of Different Cadmium Levels
Abstract Under controlled conditions, cotton (Gossipium hirsutum L.)grown in nutrient solution and plants was exposure to different doses (0, 2, 10, 30 μmol L-1) cadmium for 5 days. The effect of Cd on green parts dry weight of cotton seedlings Cd, Zn and Fe, chlorophyll content, catalase (CAT) and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) enzyme activity was investigated. Green parts dry weight and plant height with increasing Cd applications has led to a significant decline. Increase in the dose of cadmium increases the concentration of green parts Cd, Fe concentration led to a significant decrease, while the concentration of Zn, Cd treatments significantly affected plants. With the increase in the dose of nutrient solution prepared for analysis of chlorophyll in leaves Cd Kl a, b, and Kl Kl showed decreased levels of a + b. CAT activity increased with Cd applications antioxidative enzymes, APX activity 2 μmol L-1Cd increased dose, 10, 30 μmol L-1Cd tend to decrease the doses.
