Title Investigation of Working Request of the Elderly Care Program’s Students in the Field of Health Tourism

Abstract Increase in the elderly population has led to increase in health care costs of the countries. Search of alternative health services contribute to development of health tourism in the countries who have health tourism potential. Objective This study was planned to determine the working request of the elderly care program’s students in the field of health tourism Method In this descriptive study, 81 students from KaramanoğluMehmetbey University Health Vocational Hıgh School Elderly Care Program were participated voluntarily. Conclusions and Recommendations It is determined that %90.1 of Students who participated in the survey wanted to work in field of health tourism whereas students didn’t think themselves adequate education with health tourism and competent to work in the field of health tourism. Recommendations based on this study would be: • Ederly care villages will be constructed with cooperationof governmentin rural areas, thermal areas, beaches for employment of graduates in our country.
